Since May 2016, I have been employed at Hollister-Jones Lellman as a Crown Counsel based in Tauranga. I have appeared for the Crown and Government agencies in various District Courts, Youth Courts / Te Kooti Rangitahi and High Courts on a number of criminal law matters, including prosecuting both jury and judge-alone trials.

Prior to my move to Hollister-Jones Lellman, I worked in the Environmental, Planning & Natural Resources team of a large Auckland corporate law firm, specialising in resource management. During this time, I assisted with reviewing and advising clients on District Plan changes, resource consents and designations. I was also particularly involved in assisting various clients with preparation for mediation and hearings in relation to the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan.

I originally hail from the North Shore of Auckland and attended Westlake Boys High School, where I was Deputy Head Boy in 2009.

Between 2010 and 2014, I completed an LLB / BA (Politics) at the University of Otago, including an exchange at Université Jean Moulin III, in Lyon, France. During my time in Dunedin, I was an elected representative of the SOULS Executive (Society of Otago University Law Students); I was awarded the University of Otago Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship; and I played provincial rugby league for Otago. In 2015, I was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in the Auckland High Court.

In my spare time I enjoy all that there is on offer in the sunny Bay of Plenty, including the beach, golfing and the great outdoor lifestyle. On the odd occasion I have been known to make my way back to Auckland to sing in a pop covers band!
